Makoko
$5,000.00
Makoko is an evocative, moody architectural study of the historic waterfront community built over the Lagos Lagoon. Drenched in a cohesive palette of deep ocean blues, teals, and charcoal grays, the painting depicts stilt houses and wooden canoes resting above reflective water. The heavily stippled, structural impasto reflects the resilience of this floating community, elevating ordinary coastal dwellings into an atmospheric architectural monument.
