My work is an ongoing exploration of the human condition and the resilient, everyday heroism of the human spirit. Through my paintings, I seek to map the cultural collaborations and complexities that shape modern African identity. I am drawn to multi-textural applications and vibrant, psychedelic color flows—often weaving explosive, passionate strokes with soulful, realistic portraiture. By engaging with surrealistic suggestions and sometimes incorporating elements of traditional scripts like Uli and Nsibidi, my art serves as a visual dialogue about our socio-cultural realities. Whether exploring the intimate dynamics of human relationships or the broader, challenging journey of life, I aim to uncover the unexpected beauty and enduring optimism that persist amidst the noise of the world.
