This art was done traditionally using acrylic paint on canvas expressing the Durbar festival with 3 men on horses adorn on beautiful dresses. The Durbar festival is an annual cultural, religious and equestrian festival celebrated in several northern cities of Nigeria including Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Zazzau, Bauchi, Bida and Ilorin. The festival marks the end of Ramadan and also coincides with the Muslim festivities of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitri. The art is a beauty to behold as the artist used colours to bring out this beauty.

As a multimedia artist, my works seeks to explore the profound beauty that exists within the human experience. More so diving into past experiences that are undertones to our survival which have become part of our existence. I seek to capture all these as treasures of reality through portraiture and figurative paintings. Each piece to express the diverse narratives that defines us and also around us. In my art, through proficient use of light, shadow and colour, reveal the emotions and stories of those I portray.
