The Story Behind the Artwork:
Wandering through the lush, less-trodden paths near Lekki Conservation Centre, the artist stumbled upon a hidden cascade. Sunlight dappled through the dense canopy, illuminating the falling water which tumbled into a crystal-clear pool. The air hummed with the gentle sounds of nature – birdsong, the rustling of leaves, and the soothing rush of water. This secret haven, untouched and serene, inspired an urge to capture its essence. The artist envisioned a painting that would transport viewers to this tranquil spot, allowing them to experience the same sense of peace and wonder found in this secluded corner of Lagos' natural beauty.
