About Artisan: Ameje Jesse(JessePraiz Art) is a Nigerian multidisciplinary Fine artist who loves working with charcoal, graphite, pastels, acrylic and oil paints.
He was born on the 25th December, 1990 in Northern Nigeria, Zaria kaduna State to be precise. Childhood in the North is one not palatable. Is it theethno-religious crises seen? Where houses, properties were burnt down, and people killed. As terrifying as everything were, the beauty of the world was a fact that never left his heart.

He is a self taught artist that has horned his skills via mentorship and residency. Not minding the fact that He has his bachelor of science degree in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna state Nigeria. Professionally, he embarked on his art journey from2020 till date in Portraiture and Figurative paintings in FCT Abuja where he lives.

Mission Statement: As a multimedia artist, my works seeks to explore the profound beauty that exists within the human experience. More so diving into past experiences that are undertones to our survival which have become part of our existence. I seek to capture all these as treasures of reality through portraiture and figurative paintings. Each piece to express the diverse narratives that defines us and also around us. In my art, through proficient use of light, shades and colour, emotions and stories of those I portray are revealed. My creative process is introspective of the happenings around us. I am a fan of life's inherent beauty, story, characteristics and occurrences. Hence, through my work I invite you to pause, reflect and connect with Life.
