Artist Statement
In the words of Chinua Achebe, Proverbs are the palm oil with which words are eaten, but words when carelessly spoken have the tendency of birthing relationship constipation. Introspection is call to verbal prudence and caution, we all have an inner parrot that seeks to say anything the mind can imagine irrespective of the resultant injuries we might inflict on others afterwards. Through words, the earth was created, through words governments execute justice and equity, on the other hand, through words wars ensue, families are broken, fragile hearted children grow into broken adults, to repeat the same vicious cycle of a world broken by carelessly crafted vocal discharges.
