Fela Portrait
$10,000.00
Capturing the magnetic charisma of Afrobeat pioneer and political activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, this masterfully rendered oil painting showcases the musical legend in an intimate, candid moment. Smiling with effortless ease, cigarette in hand and his signature layered chain resting over an open-collared shirt, Fela radiates warmth, intellect, and radical confidence. Rendered in a muted, sophisticated palette of silvery blues, ochres, and earthen tones, the artist captures not merely a likeness, but the rebellious spirit and bohemian charm of Africa's most outspoken musical revolutionary.
