About Artisan: Okeke Maduabuchi Precious is a Nigerian, born in Benin City, Edo State. He belongs to the Igbo tribe and hails from Ebonyi State, Nigeria. With formal training in painting from Auchi Polytechnic (2018), also a freelance model,he is a passionate conceptual minimalist who showcases how minimalism can be therapeutic for the eyes and mind. His expression depictions are mainly figurative forms with cool color and patterns that engage his audience in conversation. Through his art, he illuminates the voices of his subjects on canvas while evoking emotional moods from all perspectives of life to strengthen the weak.

Mission Statement: My work is a reflection of life lived through the lens of curiosity and wonder, exploring themes of intimacy, self-discovery, mindset, health, connection,existents culture and heritage, Through the use simple color and gestures,I invite viewers to contemplate the complexities of existence- the often overlooked moments of life, nature,life and forms that provoke both joy and discomfort. I believe in the power of art to serve as a mirror, allowing us to confront our own narratives and question what it means to be present in a world that is often absurd.
In my creative process, I use a materials and approaches in a minimal handling, treating each work as an evolving entity. I aim for my pieces to possess a sense of life, as if they breathe and shift with the viewer's gaze. Moods and emotions is what drives me to experiment, pushing the boundaries of form and technique.
My art is an exploration of moods and emotions, mainly for health and as therapy,using forms with large eyes that serves as window to the soul, inviting others to do the same. I hope to inspire reflection, joy, and a deeper connection to the present and past ,while challenging perceptions and opening doors to new possibilities. Ultimately, I aspire to master the art of expression in all its forms and to create work thats speaks to the soul.
