The Two Wise Men 2
$3,255.00 - $3,500.00(7% off)
The painting is inspired by the Igbo tribe from my country. This work draws its spark from their rich cultural attire, featuring their distinctive caps and beads, expressed with a richness of hues. Beyond their vibrant clothing, I am captivated by their industrious and entrepreneurial spirit. There's a saying in my community: "If you go to a place and don't see an Igbo person, just run"—implying that the place is uninhabitable. The Igbos thrive anywhere, excelling in business and introducing their families into their trades and skills.
The title of the painting is a nod to the biblical three wise men who came from the East bearing precious gifts for baby Jesus. Similarly, the Igbos, based in the eastern part of my country, are known for their wisdom in business and industry. Through "The Two Wise Men," I celebrate their cultural richness and unyielding entrepreneurial spirit.
