Raj Rishi Bharatrihari Matsya University (RRBMU), formerly known as Matsya University, is a public state university located in Alwar, Rajasthan, India. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan announced the establishment of this university in 2012-2013. RRBMU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and has received approval from UGC and 'B' level accreditations from NAAC. More than 180 institutes/colleges including public, private, AW and B.Ed are affiliated to RRBMU. Raj Rishi Bharatrihari Matsya University offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various fields including arts, science, business, social sciences and management.
